CREATIVE KIDS – OLO EXPANSION
Creative Kids, OLO Gallery, Inc. is a non-profit organization located in the heart of El Paso's Union Plaza District. Creative Kids is dedicated to promoting the arts to reach disadvantaged youth, youth with disabilities, and youth battling cancer by opening their minds to new and exciting experiences through art and education.
This project consists of expanding existing gallery space onto a second story through the use of repurposed shipping containers as well as providing additional multi–purpose spaces, restrooms, and a small artist residency that together will define a new central rooftop patio. The schematic design phase of the project has been completed to determine economic feasibility. Creative Kids is currently engaged in a capital campaign to secure funding for the project. The first phase of work including a facade renovation funded by a DMD facade grant was completed in 2017. Creative Kids website |
