WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING
"Transforming the Mulligan from its unfortunate 'modernized' state required not only talent but placed high demand on the architects' patience and problem-solving skills. The Mulligan project represents one of the important early events in Downtown El Paso's 21st century revitalization..."

“We are especially impressed with In*Situ’s attention to budget and schedule constraints in our execution of time sensitive tax credit developments. As a provider of affordable housing, we face many hurdles to delivering quality housing to those that need it most. In*Situ’s attention to developing and executing our plan with sometimes very difficult budget and time goals is rare in our industry and we consider them to be one of the very best design teams in Texas. Their team handles difficult and complex requests with patience and applies their knowledge to help us come to solutions that work, both from a budget and aesthetic perspective.”

"Franklin Mountain Investments has a working relationship with In*Situ beginning with their founding. Throughout these many years of collaborative work we have utilized In*Situ for professional AE services on multiple projects of various scales and complexity. These have ranged from office tenant improvements in the Mills-Centre Buildings, to predevelopment services for the Mulligan Building and Blue Flame Building, to complex multi-phased Historic Rehabilitation projects like Plaza Hotel. Currently we are working with In*Situ on a new Historic Rehabilitation of the Kress Building where they are providing both professional AE services and Historic Tax Credit Consulting.
Over the course of our working relationship with In*Situ, I have been impressed with their ability to identify and resolve complex issues in the design phase. In*Situ invests the same level of attention and dedication to all projects regardless of the size and scope. The relationship and confidence they build with the owner, consultant team and contractor in our project teams is second to none." – William Kell, Chief Operating Officer, Franklin Mountain Investments |
“The El Paso Community Foundation has worked with In*Situ Architecture on many projects, large and small, throughout the last decade. Our experiences have been nothing but positive throughout.
Highlights: In*Situ designed two office structures for the Foundation, including its current offices. The key to that experience was that In*Situ team listened and followed through with creative, practical solutions to help us move seamlessly into an office space that integrates a nod to the building’s history and a very modern, technologically capable and flexible space. The firm was also architect for the Roderick Artspace Lofts, a mixed-use development with 8 retail and 51 residential units in downtown El Paso. In*Situ kept the project on budget (it is a HUD Section 42 affordable housing project) and on time. The level of detail that the team paid attention to was great, and it enhanced the El Paso skyline with its first modern multi-story structure in decades, at the beginning of our downtown renaissance. The gist of these experiences is clear: In*Situ gets it. Great design, and—more important—they offer a high level of attention to clients, sensitivity to needs, costs and timeline, and integrity.” – Eric Person, President / CEO |
"We engaged In*Situ Architecture to renovate and restore an old train station building used for the Toy Train Depot, located at the north end of Alameda Park in Alamogordo, New Mexico. Initially, we faced significant challenges with the existing structure, but we were determined to make the best of it.
After briefing the In*Situ team on our project and touring Alameda Park, we stopped in front of the Chamber of Commerce, a tired 60-year-old cinder block structure. The team immediately identified it as the ideal location for the depot. Their expertise and fresh perspective completely reshaped our vision. We had lived with that old Chamber building for too long, unable to see beyond it. InSitu's innovative design and strategic insight not only provided a fresh perspective but also ignited a new sense of possibility for our community. Now, we're collaborating on a transformative project with the Chamber of Commerce, designed by InSitu Architecture, poised to bring Alamogordo into a bright and promising future." – Michael Shyne, co-trustee at The Sheldon Trust |
